General terms and conditions of sale – WooDuck BV

These general sales conditions apply to all orders and sales transactions via the website www.wooduck.be with the products offered on the website. By placing an order you accept these terms and conditions of sale in full and without reservation. We have the right to adjust the sales conditions. Any changes to the terms of sale will only apply to orders placed on or after that date of change.

  1. APPLICATION

Each order constitutes acceptance by the buyer of our general terms and conditions, which are an integral part of the agreement, to the exclusion of all other general or special terms and conditions issued by the buyer, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

  1. SHIPPING

We try to ship your order as soon as possible once we have received your payment. Shipments are made from Monday to Friday.

If you pay by bank transfer, it can take a few days before we have received your payment. In principle we have everything in stock and we deliver within 2-3 working days after receipt of payment. After receipt of payment, the order will be executed. Products in stock will be delivered within 2 to 3 working days. For products that are not in stock, the estimated delivery time will be stated in the product description.

In the event that the delivery time is longer than previously indicated, we will contact you.

When your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email.

Shipping is done by a supplier appointed by WooDuck. Depending on the supplier, in the event that you are not present at the time of delivery, you may be invited to collect the package the next day at a supplier's collection point.

We are not responsible for delays due to events beyond our normal control. This includes production interruptions, transport delays and work stoppages.

  1. PRIVACY & SECURITY

We need certain personal data to handle the administrative side of your order, but also for delivery, invoicing, marketing and advertising campaigns/promotions. Of course we keep that data private and it is stored securely in our secure, non-public database. They are certainly not passed on to third parties.

The Buyer gives WooDuck permission to transfer this information to third parties for the processing of the order. As a buyer, you also always have the right to request or adjust this information. In this way we respect the Belgian law of 25 May 2018 regarding the protection of privacy in the processing of personal data.

  1. RETURN & EXCHANGE

You have the right to cancel the purchase without penalty and without giving any reason within fourteen calendar days from the day following the delivery. Notification must be made in writing or by email to info@wooduck.be, stating the order number and the account number for the refund.

If you want to make use of the right of renunciation, you must return the goods in original condition and packaging at your own risk and expense to WOODUCK BV, BORGERSTEINLEI 196, 2860 SINT-KATEIJNE-WAVER, BELGIUM.The item must be in its original, unopened and salable condition. After receipt of the return package, we will refund the amount paid by you (excluding any shipping costs paid) to your account. If the products do not conform to the terms of the right of withdrawal, the amount will not be refunded. Goods specifically designed for you or made to order will not be taken back. In this case you cannot invoke the right of renunciation.

  1. PAY

You can pay by bank transfer, Bancontact, Mollie, Ideal and Sofort Banking.



  1. COMPLAINTS

Complaints and any visible damage and/or qualitative shortcomings of an article or other shortcoming in the delivery must be reported within 8 days after delivery, otherwise all rights will lapse.

  1. GUARANTEE

Our guarantee is limited to the guarantee for hidden defects and the guarantee in case of consumer purchase, both provided for in the Civil Code. We are only liable for damage that is the result of our intent or gross negligence.

  1. VIOLATION

If an article of these terms and conditions is declared null and void, this nullity will not affect the validity of the other articles 

  1. APPLICABLE LAW

All agreements concluded with the seller are governed by Belgian law. The Belgian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

  1. LOSS AND DAMAGE DUE TO SHIPPING

We are not liable for loss or damage to items during shipment by our suppliers.

  1. RETENTION OF TITLE

The delivered goods will remain the property until full payment has been made, including all costs and charges, default interest and compensation. In the event of non-payment, we have the right to take back the goods at the expense of the buyer.

  1. INVOICES

After your order has been shipped, you will receive an invoice by email. All invoices are drawn up in detail. There is no possibility to draw up an invoice in general terms.

  1. COOKIES

During a visit to the site, 'cookies' may be placed on the hard drive of your computer. A cookie is a text file that is placed by the server of a website in the browser of your computer or on your mobile device when you consult a website. Cookies cannot be used to identify individuals, a cookie can only identify a machine.
